About Me

Home

My name is Adam T. Horvath. I was born on December 7th, 1982. I am from Ontario, Canada, but now I work as an English teacher in Okayama, Japan. I currently speak English, French, and Japanese, although my French is pretty rusty. My main hobbies are music, video games, computers, and learning languages.

I enjoy playing the drums, and the guitar, as well as singing. I started singing in grade six and began playing the drums in grade 12. Only recently have I started playing the guitar. I also played the clarinet when I was in grade eight.

My favourite bands and musical artists are Armor for Sleep, City and Colour, Coheed and Cambria, Copeland, the Goo Goo Dolls, Led Zeppelin, Incubus, Smashing Pumpkins, Bonnie Pink, Maaya Sakamoto (坂本真綾) , and Utada Hikaru (宇多田ヒカル) .

My favourite composers are Ludwig Van Beethoven, George Frideric Handel, Yoko Kanno (菅野よう子) , Yuki Kajiura (梶浦由記) , and Yasunori Mitsuda (光田康典).

I have an honours degree in science from McMaster University with a major in computer science and a minor in Japanese language. My future aspirations are to become a mathematics teacher in Canada or to play in a band. So far, I have only visited the United States, and Japan, but I would like to travel to countries such as Australia, New Zealand, Great Britain, Thailand, Hungary, and Romania some time in the future.
